January 28 - 30, 2011 Progressive International Motorcycle Show Held at the I-X Center. Doors open at 3:00 pm on Friday and 9:00 am on Saturday and 9:00 am on Sunday. The event includes a bike show with three classes. The classes are free style, modified Harley and performance custom. Entry fee is $150.00 for the freestyle and Harley classes or $100.00 for the performance class. Trophies and cash awards will be given to winners. February 11 - 13, 2011 Easyriders Bike Show Tour The bike show will be held at the Greater Columbus Convention Center. Gates open Friday at 5:00 pm and Saturday and Sunday at 10:00 am. Bikes can be entered in spectators class or judged class. The bike show will have awards in 61 different categories. Bikes can be entered in the show in a 5 X 10 spot for free. There are additional charges for more space if needed. Vendor fees begin at $455.00 for a 10 X 10 space. There will also be stunt shows, fashion show, music and more. April 3, 2011 Akron Motorcycle Swap Meet The swap meet will be held at the Summit County Fairgrounds. Doors open at 10:00 am. The vendor fee is $30.00 for a 10'x10' space. All vendors must pre-register. A bike corral is available to sell you bike at a $5.00 fee. Entry for the bike show is $5.00. There will be awards for first second and third. May 1, 2011 9th Annual Rally For The Troops. CLEVELAND PUBLIC SQUARE 11:00 AM to 12:00 NOON The RALLY is open to the PUBLIC. Plan on arriving around 10:00 AM to greet the procession of motorcycles arriving into downtown Public Square. MONICA ROBINS of WKYC will sing the National Anthem and MC the Rally. A tribute to Ohio's Fallen Heroes and all veterans is planned. Last year an estimated 2000 motorcyclists attended the Rally. THE RALLY WILL TAKE PLACE REGARDLESS OF THE WEATHER. In the event of bad weather please come by car, as it's important to express our continuing support for the sacrifices of our troops and their families. No cost to attend the Rally. All bikes invited. June 10 - June 12, 2011 The Lake Erie Loop Starting in Wellington, OH It will begin on June 10th, 2011 through June 12th, 2011 Proceeds for this event will benefit pediatric burn victims. This event will be an estimated 650 mile ride that will go around Lake Erie. There will be different classes riding, and they are as follows: -Class 1- 50cc or vintage up to 110cc, -Class 2- 125cc or vintage up to 160cc, -Class 3- 200cc or up to 225cc. August 18 - 20, 2011 America's Nine-Eleven Ride Sponsored by America's 9/11 Foundation The ride will have multiple starting locations. The ride will travel to all three 9-11 crash sites in Pennsylvania, Washington, DC and New York City. Not all legs of the ride will visit all three locations. This ride is to honor the victims and to benefit the College Scholarship program for children of Active First Responders. The ride starts at Bob Evans at Interstate 271 & Route 8 in Macedonia.
