January:
January 28 - 30, 2011 Progressive International Motorcycle Show Held at the I-X Center. Doors open at 3:00 pm on Friday and 9:00 am on Saturday and 9:00 am on Sunday. The event includes a bike show with three classes. The classes are free style, modified Harley and performance custom. Entry fee is $150.00 for the freestyle and Harley classes or $100.00 for the performance class. Trophies and cash awards will be given to winners. There will also be a stunt team, demo rides, exhibitors and more. www.motorcycleshows.com.
February:
February 11 - 13, 2011 Easyriders Bike Show Tour The bike show will be held at the Greater Columbus Convention Center. Gates open Friday at 5:00 pm and Saturday and Sunday at 10:00 am. Bikes can be entered in spectators class or judged class. The bike show will have awards in 61 different categories. Bikes can be entered in the show in a 5 X 10 spot for free. There are additional charges for more space if needed. Vendor fees begin at $455.00 for a 10 X 10 space. There will also be stunt shows, fashion show, music and more. March 13, 2011 Giant Motorcycle Swap Meet - Cleveland. The swap meet will be held at the I-X Center in Cleveland. Doors open at 11:00 am. Vendor fee is $35.00 for a 6 X 10 non-commercial space. Commercial space is $45.00 for a 6 X 10 space or $95.00 for a 10 X 10 space. General admission is $10.00 for adults and $3.00 for children. March 19, 2011 Freedom House for Homeless Vets Fundraiser Sponsored by Second Brigade MC/VFW Post 7490. The ride starts at VFW Post 7490, 7459 Columbus Road in Louisville. The ride begins at 5:00 pm. April 3, 2011 Akron Motorcycle Swap Meet The swap meet will be held at the Summit County Fairgrounds. Doors open at 10:00 am. The vendor fee is $30.00 for a 10'x10' space. All vendors must pre-register. A bike corral is available to sell you bike at a $5.00 fee. Entry for the bike show is $5.00. There will be awards for first second and third. Judging is done by peoples choice. Admission is $5.00. Children 12 and under get in free. For more information call (330) 324-7230.

May 1, 2011 9th Annual Rally For The Troops. CLEVELAND PUBLIC SQUARE 11:00 AM to 12:00 NOON The RALLY is open to the PUBLIC. Plan on arriving around 10:00 AM to greet the procession of motorcycles arriving into downtown Public Square. MONICA ROBINS of WKYC will sing the National Anthem and MC the Rally. A tribute to Ohio's Fallen Heroes and all veterans is planned. Last year an estimated 2000 motorcyclists attended the Rally. THE RALLY WILL TAKE PLACE REGARDLESS OF THE WEATHER. In the event of bad weather please come by car, as it's important to express our continuing support for the sacrifices of our troops and their families. No cost to attend the Rally. All bikes invited. Groups will depart at 9:30 AM from Lake Erie Harley Davidson (Avon); Harley Davidson Sales Company of Cleveland; South East Harley Davidson (Bedford Heights) and Western Reserve Harley Davidson (Mentor). Forty Five Mile Police Escorted Ride will conclude at Harley Davidson Sales Company for food and entertainment. June 3 - 12, 2011 Ohio Bike Week New events all across Ohio added this year! Two gigantic weekends packed with free events, national act concerts, antique bike display, moto-cross races, AHDRA drag races, bike shows, builder ride, Sunday June 5th scavenger hunt and hog roast at the world famous Put-In-Bay Island, mixed martial arts cage fights, winery tours, family areas and children’s activities & displays, HUGE motorcycle parade, manufacturer demo rides and rentals, biker games, campground & swap meet, and last but not least the absolutely astounding Downtown Block Party!! Weekdays are no less of an adventure with; All Country Music Day, Ekoostik Hookah jam band performance night, Jimmie VanZant, Kelleys Island poker run and party, family thrill night, the Thursday night block party featuring a FREE national act, freestyle exhibitions, poolside bikini and ring girl contest, and some nice “down-time” with plenty of destinations to visit. June 4 - 5, 2011 AHDRA-Ohio Bike Week Nationals` Motorcycle racing will take place at Summit Motorsports Park, 1300 State Route 18 in Norwalk. The racing starts at 9:00 am each day. Qualified racers can enter in 16 classes of competition. General admission is $50.00 for the weekend or $30.00 for a single day. www.ahdra.com.
June 5, 2011 Cleveland Ride for Kids® The ride starts at Rocky River High School, 20951 Detroit Road in Rocky River. Registration is from 8:00 am to 9:45 am. The escorted ride starts at 10:00 am. The ride fee is a minimum donation of $35.00. All bikes are welcome. Proceeds go to the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation® medical research and family support programs. June 10 - June 12, 2011 The Lake Erie Loop Starting in Wellington, OH It will begin on June 10th, 2011 through June 12th, 2011 Proceeds for this event will benefit pediatric burn victims. This event will be an estimated 650 mile ride that will go around Lake Erie. There will be different classes riding, and they are as follows: -Class 1- 50cc or vintage up to 110cc, -Class 2- 125cc or vintage up to 160cc, -Class 3- 200cc or up to 225cc. Admission: -$50 per bike for competitors, -$25 for touring bikes, $25 camping over the weekend. August 13, 2011 POW/MIA Rittman Run & Balloon Launch Ride to Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman, Ohio. Departing from Cuyahoga County Fair Grounds on Bagley Road in Berea Ride starts promptly at 10:30am. There will be a lot of riders so get there early. No cost to be a part of the ride. August 18 - 20, 2011 America's Nine-Eleven Ride Sponsored by America's 9/11 Foundation The ride will have multiple starting locations. The ride will travel to all three 9-11 crash sites in Pennsylvania, Washington, DC and New York City. Not all legs of the ride will visit all three locations. This ride is to honor the victims and to benefit the College Scholarship program for children of Active First Responders. The ride starts at Bob Evans at Interstate 271 & Route 8 in Macedonia. September 17, 2011 1st Annual Firehouse (dry) Poker Run Sponsored Florence & South Amherst Fire Departments. Registration begins at 9am at the South Amherst Fire Department 105 West Main St South Amherst Ohio 44001. First Bike Out at10am, last bike out at noon. Entry fee is $20 per rider, $10 for passenger.
